2SG · Chapter 08 · Partner agreement

Partnerrules.

Short, plain, and agreed before a single co-stream happens. They exist so nobody finds out the terms after the fact — including the parts that cost us money rather than you.

Agreed before any stream
THE SHORT VERSION

Carry the name, carry the rules. Nobody on the inside plays for the prizes.

These are the house rules every partner agrees to. Your individual written terms — percentages, schedule, anything specific to you — sit alongside them and are agreed before anything goes on stream. Where the two disagree about your deal, your signed terms win. Where a giveaway is concerned, that campaign’s Official Rules win over both.

This page is not legal advice. Money is involved, so get your own where you need it.

The rules

01

Partners cannot win 2SG giveaways

Partners, anyone in a partner’s immediate family, anyone living at a partner’s address, and anyone involved in running a campaign are not eligible to enter or win. This is not negotiable and it holds for every campaign, paid entry or free mail-in. The Official Rules published with each giveaway are the governing document; this is the house version of the same line.

02

Your seller link pays you directly

Each partner gets their own seller link. A share of sales made through it is paid to you directly rather than routed through the channel. The percentage, the payment schedule, and the reporting you get are set in your written terms — not here, and not by precedent from another partner’s deal.

03

Disclose anything that overlaps

Tell us before you take a sponsorship, affiliate deal, or contest from someone we compete with, and before you run a giveaway of your own under 2SG-branded content. Disclosure is not the same as permission being refused; most of the time the answer is fine. Not disclosing is the problem.

04

Label paid content properly

Sponsored segments, gifted hardware, and affiliate links get disclosed to your audience clearly and in the moment, per FTC endorsement guidance and your platform’s own rules. 2SG will not ask you to bury a disclosure, and will not work with a partner who buries one.

05

Community rules apply to you first

Everything in the community rules applies to partners, and applies harder. It follows the 2SG name: if you are carrying it on your own channel, in a Discord, or at an event, you are carrying the rules with it.

06

Do not speak for 2SG

No announcements, commitments, prize promises, partnership offers, or negotiations on behalf of the brand. If someone approaches you as though you are 2SG, send them to the founder.

07

Keep internal things internal

Unannounced campaigns, prize details before they are public, other applicants’ information, internal notes, and anything shared with you as a partner stay private until 2SG makes them public.

08

Use the brand assets as supplied

Wordmark, badge, and overlays are provided as files. Use them unaltered — no recolouring, stretching, or rebuilding — and keep third-party product marks outside the 2SG lockup.

09

Either side can walk

Partnership is non-exclusive and either side can end it in writing, with no penalty and no explanation owed. Your partner number retires rather than being reissued, 2SG assets come down, and outstanding seller-link earnings are still paid. Your player number on the Open Roster is yours and stays.

10

How this gets enforced

Same ladder as the community rules, but a breach by a partner goes straight to the founder rather than to a mod. Serious conflicts of interest, undisclosed competing deals, and anything touching giveaway integrity end the partnership rather than starting a conversation.
