Compete hard.Hold the door.

THE SHORT VERSION

Compete hard. Leave the door open behind you.

These rules apply to partners first and hardest — a partner who breaks them costs more than a viewer who does.

IN FORCE

Chat, Discord, voice rooms, community events, and anything carrying the 2SG name — including a partner’s own channel.

The rules

Nine of them, grouped by what each one protects. The colour behind each number says which group it belongs to, and every rule is labelled in words as well.

People · 5 rules
Protects the people in the room, whoever they are.
The room · 3 rules
Protects the stream and the chat as a place to be.
The giveaway · 1 rule
Protects the contest, so nobody can question it.
01 People

No gatekeeping

Nobody gets quizzed on whether they are a real fan, a real gamer, or good enough to be here. New players ask beginner questions. That is what the channel is for.

02 People

No slurs, no harassment

No slurs or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. No sexual harassment. No pile-ons. Intent does not change the outcome.

03 People

Participation is optional

Voice and camera are opt-in at every community event. Lurking is participation. Nobody is pressured to speak, show a face, or explain why they would rather not.

04 People

Respect how people describe themselves

Use the name, pronouns, and identity language a person uses for themselves. Do not speak for a group you are not part of, and do not treat any group as if it thinks with one voice.

05 People

Keep other people’s business theirs

No sharing someone’s real name, location, workplace, medical information, or accounts without their say-so. This includes screenshots from private channels.

06 The room

No spoilers without a warning

Blind runs are most of the schedule. Say what you are about to spoil and let people scroll past it.

07 The room

No selling in chat

No unsolicited promotion, referral links, crypto pitches, or DMs offering services. Ask a mod before you post your own stream.

08 The giveaway

Giveaways stay clean

No multi-accounting, no bought entries, no bots. The free mail-in entry is worth exactly what a merch entry is worth, and anyone claiming otherwise is wrong.

09 The room

Mods get the last word in the moment

Arguing a call in chat extends it. Take a disagreement to the report path below and it gets read properly.

How this gets enforced

STEP 01

Correction

A mod names the rule in chat. No public shaming, no debate.

STEP 02

Timeout

Ten minutes to twenty-four hours, depending on what happened.

STEP 03

Ban

Appealable once, in writing, through the report path.

STEP 04 No warning

Permanent removal

Slurs, threats, sexual content involving minors, and doxxing skip every step above. Gone on the first offence, no appeal, no discussion, and reported to the platform where that applies.

Immediate · permanent
REPORTING

Report it, and say what you want to happen.

Message any mod, or write to support@2sg.us. Tell us what happened, where, and roughly when. You can ask for a record only, with no action — that request gets honoured.

Reports about a partner go to the founder directly and are handled under the same ladder, not a softer one.
